Confirm the final destination
A diversion may include a later return flight, a bus arrangement, a rebooking or another airline plan. Ask the airline where passengers and checked baggage will be released before making ground plans.
Locate the whole party and bags
Flight status does not guarantee your bags arrive at the same airport. Confirm baggage delivery, your group's location and any airline-provided ground transport before choosing another ride.
Plan the new ground leg
Eagle, Rifle, Grand Junction and Denver have different drives to Aspen and Snowmass. Weather and traffic can shift the drive considerably. Share the actual landing airport, terminal, luggage count and updated contact number with anyone coordinating pickup.
Keep one source of truth
Use airline updates for the flight, the arrival airport for local pickup information and Colorado's road-condition service for the highway. Avoid treating a flight-tracking estimate as a confirmed pickup time.
