Reservation changes

Cancellation policy

Private transportation is reserved around a specific vehicle, driver and pickup window. These terms keep changes clear and fair.

Ride requests are not reservations

Submitting the website form does not create a reservation or payment obligation. A ride becomes confirmed only when CREST sends written confirmation with the itinerary, final price, applicable cancellation terms and any required payment or deposit, and you accept those terms.

Standard local and Aspen Airport reservations

Unless your written confirmation states otherwise, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup receive a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations made 12 to 24 hours before pickup are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup, and no-shows, are nonrefundable.

Long-distance, hourly and event reservations

For Eagle, Rifle, Grand Junction or Denver transfers, hourly service, events and other extended reservations, cancellations made at least 72 hours before pickup receive a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations made 24 to 72 hours before pickup are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup, and no-shows, are nonrefundable.

Peak dates and special arrangements

Holiday periods, large events, multi-vehicle service, custom itineraries and reservations requiring third-party commitments may have a different deposit or cancellation schedule. Any special terms will be disclosed in writing before you accept and will control over the standard schedule above.

Changes

CREST will make reasonable efforts to accommodate time, route, passenger, luggage and flight changes. A material change that requires a different service window, vehicle or itinerary may require a revised price and may be treated as a cancellation and new reservation if CREST cannot accommodate it.

Flight delays and cancellations

Provide accurate flight details and notify CREST promptly of changes. CREST will monitor known flight information and make reasonable efforts to adjust an airport pickup. A delayed flight does not automatically cancel the reservation. If a cancellation, diversion or major delay makes the confirmed service impossible, CREST will work with you on a revised pickup, credit or refund based on the circumstances and any costs already committed.

Weather, roads and safety

Mountain travel can be affected by snow, closures, traffic and aviation disruptions. Safety decisions remain with CREST and the chauffeur. If CREST cancels a ride because it cannot be performed safely and cannot provide an acceptable alternative, amounts paid for the unperformed service will be refunded. CREST is not responsible for airline, lodging or other third-party costs.

No-shows and waiting time

Your confirmation will identify the pickup instructions and any included waiting period. A passenger who cannot be contacted and does not meet the vehicle within that period may be treated as a no-show. Additional waiting time, when available, may be charged at the rate disclosed in the confirmation.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Banks and card providers may take 5 to 10 business days to post a refund after it is issued.
